Join the Grootbos Foundation Team as an Intern

We offer internship placements for experienced individuals over the age of 18 years in Gansbaai, South Africa. The diversity of the Grootbos Foundation programmes and staff enables interns to join and contribute to a variety of programmes which compliment individual skill-sets, allowing for a two-way learning experience in Horticulture, Conservation, Community Permaculture, Sports for Development, Careers, Employability and Entrepreneurship, Monitoring and Evaluation, General Administration and Governance in the Non Profit sector.

This internship programme was established in 2008 and has hosted international and local interns and volunteers ever since. This programme is ideal for young professionals who want to gain experience or undertake projects for their studies whilst making a meaningful and lasting impact on a local South African community.
