Grootbos Environmental Centre
Grootbos Environmental Centre is an off- grid, ‘off-the-beaten’ track, secluded getaway nestled deep the fynbos on Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. Self-catered cottages allow guests to be truly immersed in nature and the Cape Floral Kingdom.
Guests have access to the hiking trails, pristine fynbos, and a dam for swimming.
This tranquil getaway is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, birders, and anyone looking for a quiet weekend break.
The accomodation is located approximately 45 minutes from Gansbaai. Guests can selfdrive to Klipgat cave and Walker Bay Private Nature Reserve.
Guests can also book tours to visit the Grootbos Botanical Art Gallery, also located on Grootbos Private Nature Reserve.
