Green Futures College is committed to providing training and practical experience in the environmental sector to vulnerable youths seeking to uplift themselves and their families. In 2021, our goal is to provide Green Internships, mentored work experience in eco-tourism, tailormade facilitated online learning and the opportunity to matriculate so that these youths develop highly marketable skills in order to gain employment or to start their own businesses. Grootbos Foundation is committed to promoting sustainability within the local economy. Green Internships at Green Futures College in 2021 are the perfect expression of the Grootbos Foundation vision – to protect the Cape Floral Kingdom and to uplift the community who lives in it.
